Launching #CelebrateSkills: A New Social Media Campaign at ESLC

At The ESLC, we believe in celebrating the strengths and talents of adult language learners. Too often, deficit narratives dominate conversations about English learners. In our classes, we have a front row seat to the wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience adults contribute to our vibrant learning community. In order to highlight the strengths and talents of ESLC students, volunteers, and community partners, we are launching a new social media campaign, #CelebrateSkills.

Through #CelebrateSkills, we aim to highlight the diverse and impressive abilities of our learners. From professional expertise and artistic talents to life skills and multilingual proficiency, every skill deserves recognition.

To kick off this campaign, we'll be showcasing the incredible skills of our own ESLC staff! Our team members will be the first to share their talents, setting the stage for the many inspiring stories to come from ESLC students , volunteers, and community partners.
