Every year, during Welcoming Week, Adult Education and Family Literacy Week, and the anniversary of the English Skills Learning Center (ESLC), we throw a special event that brings our community together: Picnic in the Park.
This event is a highlight for community members, ESLC staff, volunteers, students from our community English classes and their families. It’s a day to relax, have fun, and connect with one another in a welcoming atmosphere.
Picnic in the Park is all about celebrating community. Attendees can join in on a variety of activities, from games and cultural exchanges to sharing a meal and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It’s a great way for everyone to feel part of the ESLC family.
What makes this event so special is the sense of unity and collaboration it fosters. Each conversation and shared moment highlights the positive impact we create when we come together to support one another.
We love seeing Picnic in the Park grow every year, bringing in more people and strengthening our community bonds. As we celebrate another year of learning and growth, we’re reminded of how important education and community support are in building a brighter future for all.
Join us at Picnic in the Park and be part of a celebration that shows the amazing things we can achieve together. Let’s continue to build a strong, inclusive community where all voices are celebrated.
