NRS LEvel Tool

In order to make the ESLC's NRS Level Tool available to all ELL providers, we have embedded a live verison of the spreadsheet below. The ESLC used a combination of NRS descriptors, CASAS competencies, and our own experience to create this tool. We chose to include an "NRS 0" to capture incremental progress and goals for true beginning students and adult emergent readers.

How to use: 

1. Note: This tool is intended to be used on a computer, rather than a mobile device. 

2. Select the dropdown options next to "Speaking/Listening NRS Score" and "Reading NRS Score" to select the individual's current or target levels. 

3. To print, move your cursor outside of the table. Right click and select print. 

4. Only one person can use this tool at a time. If you notice the screen moving, please be patient while the current user finishes their session.
    

Please keep in mind that this tool is a Google Sheet. Do not attempt to copy or edit any of the features to ensure the tool remains up-to-date and accessible.
